Squeeze Out Soreness, Flush In Recovery

Compression Therapy

30 min

Accelerate recovery with pneumatic compression that enhances blood flow, reduces muscle soreness, and promotes lymphatic drainage.

Benefits

Why Choose Compression Therapy

Lymphatic System Activation

Sequential pneumatic compression mimics the body's natural lymphatic pumping action, helping to flush metabolic waste, excess fluid, and toxins from your tissues. This is especially beneficial after intense exercise or long periods of sitting.

Accelerated Muscle Recovery

The rhythmic compression and release cycle increases blood flow to fatigued muscles, delivering oxygen and nutrients while removing lactic acid and other metabolic byproducts that cause soreness.

Reduced Swelling & Edema

Compression therapy is clinically proven to reduce swelling in the legs and feet. It is commonly used by athletes, travelers, and individuals who spend long hours on their feet or sitting at a desk.

Improved Circulation

The sequential compression pattern moves blood from your extremities back toward your heart, improving venous return and overall circulation. This can help prevent varicose veins and reduce feelings of heaviness in the legs.

Flexibility & Range of Motion

By reducing muscle tension and promoting blood flow, compression therapy can improve flexibility and range of motion. Many athletes use it before training to warm up muscles and after training to speed recovery.

Relaxation & Recovery

The rhythmic squeezing sensation is deeply relaxing. Many clients describe compression therapy as a full-body massage for their legs. It is an excellent way to unwind while actively promoting recovery.

Deep Dive

What Is Compression Therapy?

Compression therapy uses pneumatic compression devices that sequentially inflate and deflate around your legs, hips, and arms to enhance blood flow, promote lymphatic drainage, and accelerate muscle recovery. At Deliberate Wellness Studio in Vineyard, Utah, we use professional-grade compression boots that deliver precise, sequential compression patterns designed to flush metabolic waste and deliver fresh blood to fatigued muscles.

The technology behind compression therapy is based on the same principles used in medical settings to prevent deep vein thrombosis and treat lymphedema. Our compression boots use overlapping chambers that inflate in sequence from your feet upward, creating a wave-like massage that pushes blood and lymphatic fluid back toward your heart.

Compression therapy has become a staple recovery tool for professional athletes, marathon runners, and fitness enthusiasts. It is also increasingly popular among office workers, travelers, and anyone who experiences leg fatigue, swelling, or poor circulation. The 30-minute sessions are relaxing, require no effort, and pair perfectly with other recovery treatments.
