Timeless Heat, Proven Results
Experience the timeless benefits of traditional dry heat. Our sauna promotes deep sweating, cardiovascular conditioning, and full-body relaxation.
Traditional sauna sessions raise your heart rate to 100–150 BPM, similar to moderate exercise. Regular sauna use has been shown to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and improve overall heart health.
The intense dry heat of a traditional sauna produces profuse sweating that helps eliminate toxins, heavy metals, and metabolic waste through your skin — your body's largest detoxification organ.
High heat increases blood flow to muscles and joints, reducing stiffness and promoting flexibility. Traditional sauna is particularly effective for warming up before exercise or recovering afterward.
Regular sauna use stimulates the production of white blood cells and heat shock proteins that strengthen your immune response. Studies show frequent sauna users get sick less often.
The meditative quality of sitting in dry heat promotes mindfulness and mental clarity. The endorphin release triggered by heat exposure creates a natural sense of well-being and calm.
Research from Finland — where sauna culture originated — shows that regular sauna use is associated with reduced all-cause mortality and longer lifespan. The cardiovascular and stress-reduction benefits compound over time.
Traditional dry sauna therapy uses heated rocks and ambient air to raise the temperature of an enclosed room to 170–200°F, creating an environment that promotes deep sweating, cardiovascular conditioning, and full-body relaxation. At Deliberate Wellness Studio in Vineyard, Utah, our traditional dry sauna offers an authentic Finnish-style experience with modern comfort and safety features.
The tradition of sauna bathing dates back thousands of years to Finland, where it remains a cornerstone of daily wellness culture. The intense dry heat triggers a cascade of beneficial physiological responses: your heart rate increases, blood vessels dilate, muscles relax, and your body produces a deep, cleansing sweat that eliminates toxins and metabolic waste.
Our traditional dry sauna is the perfect complement to our cold plunge for contrast therapy, or it can be enjoyed on its own as a standalone wellness treatment. Many clients use the dry sauna as a warm-up before their cold plunge session, or as a relaxation ritual at the end of a long day.
Enter the sauna wearing a swimsuit or towel. Sit or recline on the wooden bench at your preferred level — higher benches are hotter.
Allow 5–10 minutes for your body to acclimate to the heat. Your skin temperature will rise and you'll begin to sweat.
Stay for 15–30 minutes depending on your comfort level. Beginners should start with shorter sessions.
Hydrate before, during, and after your session. We provide water and towels.
Many clients alternate between the dry sauna and cold plunge for a contrast therapy experience.
After your session, cool down gradually and continue hydrating. You'll feel deeply relaxed and refreshed.
Our traditional dry sauna operates between 170–200°F. You can control your heat exposure by choosing your bench level — lower benches are cooler, upper benches are hotter.
We recommend 15–30 minutes per session. Beginners should start with 10–15 minutes and gradually increase. Listen to your body — if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable, exit the sauna and cool down.
Traditional dry saunas heat the air to 170–200°F using heated rocks. Infrared saunas use light wavelengths to heat your body directly at a lower ambient temperature (120–150°F). Both offer excellent benefits — dry sauna provides more intense heat, while infrared penetrates deeper into tissues.
Our dry sauna is designed for dry heat only. If you prefer a steam experience, the infrared sauna provides a gentler, moisture-free alternative with deeper tissue penetration.
Sauna is safe for most healthy adults. However, those with uncontrolled blood pressure, heart conditions, or who are pregnant should consult their physician before using the sauna. We screen all first-time visitors.
Book your traditional dry sauna session and experience thousands of years of proven wellness tradition at Deliberate Wellness Studio.
